Police continue to investigate following the arrest of two people believed to be illegally selling alcohol from a residence in the city.

On Monday December 7, the Prince George RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Redwood Street. The search warrant was part of an on-going investigation into illegal alcohol sales.

During the search, police located and seized the following from the residence:

  • Over 750 cans or bottles of beer
  • Over 90 cans or bottles of premixed single serving alcohol
  • Over 60 bottles of liquor (various sizes)
  • Over 60 two ounce bottles of liquor
  • One bottle of wine

Cash and other evidence were also seized.

A 49-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were arrested in the residence. Both have since been released on a promise to appear for a future court date. Charges under the Liquor Control and Licensing Act will be recommended.
