Knife-wielding man spotted near PGSS

The Prince George RCMP continue to investigate following a weapons-related call near Prince George Senior Secondary Monday afternoon.

At approximately 1:45 p.m., the Prince George RCMP received a report from a student that an unknown man was entering vehicles in the parking lot of Prince George Secondary School. When confronted, the suspect showed the complainant a knife and then fled the area on foot, towards Masich Place Stadium on Massey Drive.

Officers immediate attended the area, but were not able to locate the suspect.

The suspect was described as:

  • Non-white male
  • 18 to 20 years old
  • 183 cm (6’)
  • Wearing a grey ball cap, black sweater, blue jeans and a black back pack

This investigation is continuing. Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible.
