Two charged in connection with Vanderhoof double homicide

Two people are facing facing murder charges in connection to  double homicide near Vanderhoof two years ago.

On January 13, 2013, the Vanderhoof RCMP responded to a complaint that two had been found dead in a residence. Due to the circumstances surrounding these deaths, the North District Major Crime Unit (NDMCU) was called in to assist.

This past weekend, Shaun Keith Goodwin, 21, of Vanderhoof and a 20-year-old man, who was 17 years old at the time of the offence  and whose name cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have each been charged with two counts of second degree murder in the deaths of 29-year-old Blaine Albert Barfoot and 40-year-old Tara Lee Ann Williams.
