On September 24, at 3:02 p.m. the Williams Lake RCMP received a report of a missing person.
Information provided to police was that Lonnie Widdoes, 49, left his residence around 8 a.m. yesterday morning and was expected back within a reasonable time, but did not return.
Late in the day, Widdoes truck was located in the Sheep Creek Bridge area but he is still unaccounted for. Search and Rescue has been engaged and a full search was initiated at first light.
Widdoes family is very concerned for Lonnie’s well-being and police are asking anyone who has any information regarding Lonnie’s whereabouts to contact the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211.
