Pair arrested in connection with Sally Ann B&E

Two people have been arrested in connection to a break and enter at the Salvation Army.

Since Sunday the Salvation Army facility located on 18th Avenue near Highway 97 has been hit with four break and enters.

During the early morning of Wednesday August 19, members of the Prince George RCMP’s General Duty Section observed two people break-in to the same building. Shortly after, a man and a woman were arrested without incident.

Further investigation found that the man was likely responsible for the theft of a bike and cell phone from the back yard of a residence on the 800 block of Freeman Street. The investigation into the previous break-ins at the Salvation Army is continuing.

The 25-year-man man and 20-year-old woman were released on conditions for a future court date. They are both residents of Prince George and both known to police.
