As part of the Prince George RCMP’s efforts to fight bike theft and to reunite recovered bikes with their owners, the local detachment has partnered with a local retailer and bike manufacturer to raffle off a Norco Storm mountain bike.  Everyone who registered their bike on the 529 Garage bike registry app in the last year is eligible for the draw.

On Thursday November 8, the Prince George RCMP attended Cycle World on First Avenue to draw the winner of the bike.  Lorrie Taylor, a Prince George resident, won the Norco bike and attended Cycle World to receive her prize.

In addition to the bike, the Prince George RCMP also raffled off two high quality ABUS brand locks.  The winners were Ryan Peel and Lorna Grant.

The Prince George RCMP would like to thank everyone that took the time to register their bike this season and Cycle World and the RCMP volunteers for their dedication to this program and for helping to reduce bike theft in our community.
