The Prince George RCMP continue to search for 68-year-old Regnald Percy Waite of Prince George.
On Thursday August 30, the Prince George RCMP received a report that Waite was missing and had not been seen for several days. Since that time, a thorough investigation has been undertaken, however he still remains missing.
It is unusual for Regnald to go missing and family and friends are concerned. His residence shows no signs that he planned to leave and his vehicles were left at home.
Investigators have determined that Regnald was last seen on the night of Saturday August 25 at approximately 11 p.m.
Regnald enjoys the outdoors and is known to go for walks, hikes and bike rides, in and around our community. He particularly enjoys Cottonwood Island Park, Ginters Field (near 18th Avenue and Foothills Boulevard), and Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park. He also frequents the bus stop near the corner of 10thAvenue and Freeman Street. Although police have not been able to obtain a description of his bicycle, it is believed he may have taken it with him.
At this point, foul play is not suspected, but police are concerned for Regnald’s health. The Prince George RCMP are asking everyone that frequents the outdoors to please report anything suspicious including found clothing and bikes.
