Police seeking information from public on girl in van

The Prince George RCMP are interested in any information that may lead to the identification of a teenaged girl who was walking along Massey Drive near the skate park on Monday, July 23, between 12:45 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The girl’s description is as follows:

  • 12 to 14 years old
  • slender
  • approximately five feet, two inches tall
  • brown hair that has blue streaks in it
  • last seen wearing a black and blue checkered shirt
  • carrying a black backpack with orange straps and a lightning bolt across the pack

The girl may be related to a silver or grey coloured minivan with tinted back windows and damage to the front and rear driver’s side.

Police have also asked for anyone with dashcam video from around the area at that time to come forward, following a call from witnesses who saw the girl get into a van. The witnesses felt the girl was in distress and called RCMP.
