The main lodge at Tabor Mountain Ski Resort has been destroyed by fire.

Fire investigators are continuing to investigate following the fire that was reported just after midnight February 1.

The Tabor/Ferndale Volunteer Fire Department attended the scene but could not contain the blaze.

Prince George RCMP says that when their members arrived, the lodge was fully engulfed in flames and the structure is a total loss.  No one was believed to have been inside.

Although the cause has yet to be determined, police will remain on scene until such time that fire investigators can make a determination.
