On Wednesday, November 22, crews with the City of Prince George and IDL Projects will be tying a new, large diameter (500mm) water main to an existing 600mm diameter supply line at a pump station just north of North Nechako Road. The operation is part of a major infrastructure project which will enhance the reliability of the city’s water system and improve water service in the Hart area.

Tomorrow’s operation could result in water discoloration for some residents. If this occurs, residents are advised to run taps until the water runs clear – particularly before using a washing machine.

The work will take place during a lower water consumption period of the day, but the City requests that Hart residents conserve water from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
