Discover new sports through local program

Try a new sport, such as jiu jitsu, archery, pickle ball, soccer or others, at your local community association or school. The Sports Discover Try It! Program offers an opportunity for anyone to try or participate within a new sport or physical activity. These programs are offered at no cost and registration is not required. Each program session runs from 60 to 90 minutes in length and is facilitated by qualified and experienced coaches and staff. Participants do not need to bring equipment or live in the area where the community association host is located.

Through a partnership of the City of Prince George with Engage Sport North and 7 Prince George community associations, 21 Sport Discovery Try It! Program sessions will be offered from September 2017 to June 2018.
