Emergency centre moves to City Hall

The City of Prince George’s Emergency Reception Centre, currently located at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre, will be relocated to the service centre at City Hall effective Monday morning. The hours will be regular City Hall hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Evacuees needing emergency social services are asked to inquire at the service centre. They can also phone 250.617.7168.

Currently, the city estimates there are now fewer than 20 evacuees in the city receiving emergency social services.

Since the Emergency Operations Centre was established in Prince George early last month roughly 10,700 people registered for services in the city.
