Police still looking into disappearance of Roberta Marie Sims

The Prince George RCMP are continuing to investigate the suspicious disappearance of Prince George resident, Roberta (Robin) Marie Sims.

On Sunday May 14, the Prince George RCMP began the investigation after receiving a report from a concerned member of the public.  The Prince George Serious Crime Unit believes that Robin’s disappearance is very suspicious, out of character and are concerned that she may have met with foul play.

The RCMP are looking for more information from the public and encouraging anyone that may have seen Robin Sims around the first week of May to contact the police.

One of the places Robin was last seen was near her residence located at 3015 – Third Avenue, Prince George, which is located across from the Central Fort George Traditional School. Robin was also believed to have been seen near the BX Pub and the Spruceland CIBC bank around the time she went missing.

Roberta (Robin) Marie Sims is described as:

  • Caucasian female
  • 55 years old
  • 163 cm (5’4”)
  • 70 kg (154 lbs)
  • Long blonde hair
  • Blue eyes
  • Several tattoos including on her left upper arm, her left upper chest and a robin bird on the right side of her neck.

Police are asking businesses and homeowners to check their video surveillance for any sign of Sims in the area.
